Michael Vincent and his father, Alan are the Solicitors and Partners at MJV. They have more than fifty years combined experience in a wide range of areas of law and are here to provide you with any help and assistance you may need.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority obliges all solicitors who have a website to publish their complaints procedure online. This is a simple formality and we anticipate you being very happy with our service, but if you are not and you wish to make a complaint we ask that you contact your file handler, named at the top of any letters from us to discuss why you are unhappy. In most cases we expect to be able to address your concerns and resolve the complaint in such a way, but if we cannot or you wish to make a formal complaint then this should be placed in writing and sent to Mr Michael Vincent or Mr Alan Vincent depending on who your complaint is about.
Your complaint will be acknowledged in writing within two days of receipt and we will then investigate it. We may contact you to discuss the matter or to obtain further information, but will send our formal response to your complaint to you, in writing, within 28 days of the date of our acknowledgement. In some cases, this may not be possible, but if this is so we will write to you with the reasons why.
If you remain unhappy and wish to progress your complaint further, you are entitled to make a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and they should be contacted for information on the complaints process and relevant time limits:
